Matt Tyler.

Matt Tyler is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Birmingham.

 Influenced by the styles of Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, David Gray, KT Tunstall, Damien Rice, REM, Bob Dylan, Travis and Oasis etc.

 Matt performs a blend of Acoustic Rock/Folk. He plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar, harmonica, ukulele, and piano.

 Matt records, writes and produces on his own label Dannyboy Records and has a Worldwide Digital Distribution deal with Orchard Music of New York. His music is available on itunes, eMusic, Napster, HMV.net and Virgin.net as well as his own website and eBay. Downloads are now in 5 figures worldwide.

 He has received airplay up and down the country on Radio Stations such as BBC Radio WM, BBC Radio Leicester, BBC Radio Shropshire, BRMB, Isles FM (Record of the week), Loch Drummond FM, Radio Wolf and Vale FM amongst others. He was a semi finalist in The UK Song Writing Contest 2005 and 2006.

Recent releases include

 “Undercover” (April 06) DBM002, features a mixture of covers and original material.

“Brilliant Disguise” (Nov 06) DMB003, A Springsteen tribute album featuring songs from the Boss’ many eras of music with a Tyler twist.

And most recently "Dead Flowers By Midnight" (July 07) DBM005 his first all original material album.
